Ras Muhammad National Park features dive sites that adorn the dreams of every diver. The SHARK and JOLANDA Reefs are among the most famous of these dive spots. The plateaus start at about 20 meters and reach depths of over 200 meters. The reef area hosts a wide variety of hard and soft corals and fish species of almost every size. If luck is on your side, you might encounter sharks during the early morning dives at the Jolanda Reef. Additionally, the wreck of the cargo ship that sank in 1980 at the Jolanda Reef will add extra enjoyment to your dives.

One of the most famous shipwrecks in the world, it is undoubtedly the best wreck dive in the Red Sea.
The SS Thistlegorm was a British cargo ship transporting military supplies to the region during World War II. It was damaged during a German bombing raid on November 6, 1941, and sank. Lying at a depth of 32 meters, this legendary wreck offers divers an unforgettable experience, especially with its cargo. Inside the wreck, you will find tanks, trucks, motorcycles, weapons, railway carriages, and two railway engines waiting for you.
